In 2025, Normandy Schools Collaborative^↗ET graduated 73.3 percent of its students on time. Clayton^↗ET graduated 99.5 percent, leaving a 26.2 percentage point gap between the two St. Louis County districts.

Normandy's rate came from a 221-student cohort. Riverview Gardens^↗ET posted a 77.7 percent rate among 314 students. By comparison, Ladue^↗ET reached 98.2 percent and Webster Groves^↗ET reached 97.9 percent.

The Special School District of St. Louis County posted a 19.2 percent rate among 99 students, but its specialized student population makes a direct comparison with the other districts inappropriate.

Normandy's volatility

Normandy's graduation rate varied substantially over the seven-year data window. It ranged from 53.3 percent in 2023 to 79.7 percent in 2022, a 26.3-point spread.

Normandy's annual cohorts ranged from 150 to 221 students. The 2025 rate was 20.0 points above the 2023 low, but remained below the district's 2019 rate.

Riverview Gardens: stuck in the 70s

Riverview Gardens ranged from 58.4 percent in 2021 to 83.2 percent in 2019. Its 2025 rate of 77.7 percent was 5.5 points below its 2019 rate.

The district did not exceed 83.2 percent in any year from 2019 through 2025.

The comparison is local and descriptive: the graduation data establish the size and persistence of the rate differences, but do not identify their causes.

Seventy students

At 73.3 percent and 221 students, approximately 59 students in Normandy's 2025 cohort did not graduate on time. At 77.7 percent and 314 students, roughly 70 students in Riverview Gardens missed the mark. Together, that is 129 students in two adjacent districts who did not finish high school in four years.

Clayton recorded one non-graduate in its 218-student cohort.
